JOB DESCRIPTION

Cleaning - will be responsible for conducting various general cleaning services in the offices and some in the plant area.

Driving - will be responsible for working with our logistics department for short haul pick-ups and deliveries using our pick-up truck.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Communicate in English both written and verbally

Strong attention to detail

Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks

Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings

Works well independently and in a team environment

Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial

MUST HAVES:

Cleaning is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift/move heavy objects, standing, bending, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.

A valid “G” license and a clean driving record.

Must already be legally permitted to work in Ontario, Canada

SHIFT

Flexible - 40 hours per week but can be less if desired based on cleanliness of facility. At least 1 day per week it would be required to work from 4pm - 7pm to mop and wash floors (the offices are typically empty for cleaning at about 4pm.

Maintenance of Building such as painting, minor plumbing, snow clearing and salting walkways

General dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping

Cleaning of washrooms, changerooms, lunchroom, offices, refilling dispensers

Emptying garbage and recycling

Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces

Spot Cleaning of walls and glass

Sanitizing touchpoints

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
