Intermediate Civil / Structural Designer

TENG Inc. is a fast growing, medium-size engineering consultant company providing engineering and project management services to multiple industry sectors. We have an immediate need for an Intermediate Civil/Structural Designer.

- Education: Diploma in Engineering Technology from a Technical Institute

- Experience: 5 – 10 Years

- Work Location: Mississauga, ON

- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (min 1-2 days @ office)

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

- Proficient with developing civil, structural and architectural engineering deliverables:

- Civil & Structural Standard Drawings (General Notes, Handrail, Ladder, Manhole, Stairways etc.,)

- Roads & Pavements Details

- Develop grading layout drawings

- Civil General Arrangement Drawings

- Buildings - Architectural Plan, Section, Elevation & Details

- Equipment & Sheds - Layout & Details

- Structure/foundation plans, details, sections, elevations

- Pipe Rack - Layout & Details

- MTOs

- Engineering & Construction Work Packages

- Extensive experience with 3D model development from survey drawings or from scratch using Autodesk Civil 3D.

- Knowledge of construction and fabrication sequence.

- Working knowledge of intra-discipline project interfaces with Piping, Mechanical and Electrical groups.

- Excellent English verbal/written communication skills required.

- Occasional travel to client sites will be required for brownfield verifications, on-site commissioning and/or support.

- Other duties as applicable.
