**Overview**  
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is essential for supporting the overall financial health of the organization and requires a strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles.

**Duties**

* Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
* Manage accounts receivable by processing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
* Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies.
* Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights.
* Utilize accounting software such as Sage or Xero for various financial tasks.
* Support financial auditing processes by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
* Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documents for easy retrieval.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial information as needed.

**Experience**

* Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role is preferred.
* Familiarity with corporate finance principles and practices.
* Proficiency in budgeting, account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation tasks.
* Experience using accounting software such as Sage or Xero is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and other departments.
