Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site PAUT LVL II technician role located in Houston, TX. The PAUT LVL II technician will be responsible for conducting performance testing and evaluations of piping and equipment using phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) techniques. The technician will also be responsible for producing accurate and detailed reports of the inspection results and identifying areas for improvements, as well as ensuring that all data and information is properly stored and maintained.
Qualifications
•Certification as a Level II PAUT technician in accordance with SNT-TC-1A or PCN
•Demonstrated experience operating advanced UT equipment and analyzing results
•Proficient in interpreting codes and standards, such as ASME B31.3, API 650, and AWS D1.1
•Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
•Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate reports
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
•Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively
•High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate's degree in NDE/NDT is preferred
•Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
