We're looking for a
Wellness Officerto help drive our holistic wellness initiatives and foster a workplace culture that prioritizes well-being. This is a
people-centered, high-impact roleideal for someone who is proactive, communicative, and inspiring.
Duties
As a Wellness Officer, you'll support the Wellness Coordinator in rolling out exciting programs and initiatives that bring awareness, education, and participation to the forefront of our workplace wellness strategy. Your main duties will include:
- Assisting in the design and execution of wellness activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Supporting the planning and rollout of wellness webinars, training sessions, and educational talks on key topics such as mental health, stress management, healthy eating, fatigue, and chronic disease prevention.
- Coordinating engaging wellness events such as World Health Day activities, interdepartmental wellness challenges, and more.
- Promoting participation in health programs through outreach and motivational communication strategies.
- Implementing wellness screenings and educational sessions in collaboration with internal and external specialists.
- Using creative communication tools (e.g., Canva, wellness newsletters, lunch & learns) to design and share impactful wellness content.
- Maintaining program participation records and tracking engagement metrics.
- Personable – you’re a people person and a great communicator.
- Motivational – you inspire others to join and stay committed to wellness goals.
- Creative – you can bring fresh ideas for outreach, education, and engagement.
- Organized – you track, measure, and manage wellness programs with efficiency.
- Tech-savvy – you’re comfortable using design tools like Canva and navigating digital communication platforms.
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Degree in health or wellness promotion, public health, or a related field will be beneficial
- 3 years relevant work experience
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office and content management systems.
- Good communication skills
- Creative
- Good motivator and enjoy working with people is essential.
- Driver’s Licence would be a benefit but not a requirement
