Konya Mining Company is a leading producer of high-quality industrial silica sand used across a wide range of manufacturing and construction applications. Our minerals support essential industries including glass production, water filtration, foundry operations, roofing materials, and tile manufacturing. The Account Executive - Industrial Sands will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth across multiple industrial markets. This role involves identifying new opportunities, providing technical product expertise, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned revenue targets and growth goals
- Manage an existing customer base while prospecting and qualifying new leads in industries such as water filtration, roofing materials, tile, glass, and construction products
- Consult closely with customers to understand material specifications, product requirements, and logistics needs
- Present product capabilities, pricing, and supply options to support customers’ operational goals
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure reliable supply and delivery performance
- Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activity to identify areas for expansion
- Prepare accurate forecasts, proposals, and account reporting
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, association meetings, and customer site visits
- Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and ethical business conduct
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Geology, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of B2B industrial sales experience—mining, building materials, or manufacturing markets strongly preferred- Solid understanding of supply chain and bulk material logistics a plus
- Technical aptitude for material specifications and industrial production processes
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
