Welder- 1st Shift or "Slide Shift"

This Welder will be based at the Cleves location. The hours are Monday – Thursday from 5am-3:00pm, or Monday - Thursday from 7am - 5pm. Overtime may be required.
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Lead Welder, the Welder is responsible for moving between production assignments, MIG welding, and fabricating various metals for production.
- Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job.
- Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals using MIG welding processes.
- Reads and comprehends blueprints and welding process specifications when necessary.
- Fit up complicated but standard structures and weldments involving a considerable number of parts and details.
- Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
- Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts.
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- 3+ years of welding experience, outside of school setting- TIG and Aluminum welding preferred
- MIG welding experience is required.
- Experience using measuring tools including tape measures and calipers.
- Experience operating a jib crane preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret routers, blueprints, drawings, and machine sketches preferred.
