Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and people-oriented Production/Plant Manager to oversee our daily (Shift) manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is responsible for supervising production staff, maintaining planning and documentation, and ensuring consistent execution of safety, quality, and performance standards. This role is a critical link between the shop floor and senior management and plays a key role in continuous improvement and team development.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate all production staff and daily operations.

- Prepare and finalize production runs, including required documentation (e.g., samples, CoA, BOL).

- Develop and maintain accurate production planning in alignment with customer and operational needs.

- Manage inventory and material flow within the ERP or inventory control system.

- Conduct regular meetings with management and provide operational updates.

- Share technical knowledge and best practices with staff to drive continuous improvement.

- Actively support production startup and assist in troubleshooting when needed.

- Ensure production documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.

- Train, coach, and evaluate production staff to enhance skills and engagement.

- Design and implement structured training and development programs.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the production floor (e.g., 5S methodology).

- Establish and enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and ensure compliance.

- Foster a positive and motivating work environment within the production team.

- Possess basic technical skills to perform or assist with minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks.

Requirements

- Strong background in supervising day-to-day manufacturing operations.

- Knowledge of manufacturing, continuous improvement, and HSE standards.

- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

- Willing and available to travel to the Netherlands for several periods to learn production and management tasks at the parent company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
