MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – 1ST SHIFT Morris Bean & Company – Yellow Springs, Ohio Full-Time | 1st Shift | Overtime Available | Union Eligibility After 60 Days
Morris Bean & Company is a trusted leader in aluminum casting, proudly serving industries such as air and gas separation, commercial refrigeration, diesel locomotives, medical equipment, pump components, and energy and military applications. For decades, our craftsmanship and commitment to quality have made us a preferred partner across the country. We utilize gravity and low-pressure casting processes to cast aluminum alloys in the 300 series. Molding methods include Antioch plaster, Air-set sand, and cold-box sand in combination with permanent and semi-permanent molds.
We’re looking for a skilled, experienced Maintenance Technician to join our 1st shift team, with regular overtime available and long-term career growth.

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Work with industrial controls, motor controls, and 480V 3-phase power
- Diagnose and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems
- Install and maintain equipment in a manufacturing / industrial environment
- Fabricate and safely operate shop tools (drill press, band saw, etc.)
- Support plant operations as a multi-skilled maintenance technician on 1st shift
- Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, pumps, and gearboxes
- Experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, or maintenance mechanic / electrician roles
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
