As the Systems Integration and Startup Manager, you will lead the critical transition from construction to operation, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Your primary responsibility is to develop and execute comprehensive test plans that ensure all centrifuge equipment and support systems function according to their design. You will oversee the turnover process from the EPC contractor, coordinate the development of training programs and operational procedures, and ensure all activities comply with NRC regulations and the facility's license. This leadership role is crucial for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient startup of the plant, managing the team responsible for testing, and addressing any identified deficiencies through corrective action.
We’d Love To Hear From People With:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or the physical sciences, or equivalent military and/or technical experience. - 4+ years of nuclear experience or similarly rigorous industries. - 4+ years background in training, procedures, and engineering test plans; NRC licensing; Quality Assurance records; NMCA; nuclear fuel cycle security; HP/IH; and environmental regulations
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” level security clearance
- Direct experience with centrifuge technology or uranium enrichment facilities
- Previous experience as a Site Technical Representative or in a similar contractor oversight role
- Familiarity with managing in a union environment, specifically with the USW Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Demonstrated experience interacting with regulatory bodies such as the NRC, DOE, and OSHA
- Strong project management skills with a track record of keeping projects on scope, schedule, and budget
