Finishing Tech

Job description

- Hand and or tool working parts for desired finish requirements

- Use air / electric and hand tools

- Deburring and inspecting the quality of parts for conformance to requirements

- Minor Assembly work using electric hand tools and/or manual press

- Use of Sanders, Wire Wheels, Drill Press, and Tabletop Lathes to achieve part requirements

- Load and unload of vibratory equipment

- Clean product using ultra sonic cleaners, automated parts washer, or manually processing using various cleaning agents

- Standard quality tools such as Digital Mics, calipers, pin gauges, Microscopes, and thread gauges

- Package parts per job requirements to prevent handling damages

- Communicate with Supervisor and/or Quality about part discrepancies

- Keep work area clean

- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions

- Willing to train others to complete job assignments

- Other job duties as assigned

- Basic Blueprint reading

- Basic computer skills

- Able to sit for long periods

- Mechanically inclined

- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
