Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Form / Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, with the ability to create smooth and durable surfaces for various construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to quality workmanship. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of excellence.
Duties
Prepare and set up concrete forms* according to project specifications.
Mix, pour, and spread concrete* using appropriate techniques and tools.
•Finish surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired texture and appearance.
•Inspect finished work for quality and adherence to specifications.
•Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and masons, to ensure project success.
•Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
•Assist in other work as needed.
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Skills
Proficiency in concrete finishing* techniques and tools.
•Experience with equipment operating is a plus.
•Knowledge of construction estimating practices..
Skills in form carpentry* for structural support.
•Familiarity with stucco application methods.
•Competence in blueprint reading to accurately follow project plans.
•Experience with concrete pumping equipment is advantageous.
