We are seeking a dynamic candidate to join our location as an Accounting Clerk.
The ideal candidate would have experience in working in an ever-changing, fast-moving, and evolving environment. Candidates who have worked within a manufacturing/distribution environment are highly preferred.

The Nova Steel USA AR/AP Clerk is responsible for providing support to the Accounting and Finance departments.
· Foster a culture of safety awareness and safety prioritization.
Recording and classifying vendor invoices to the correct GL after matching to purchase orders or obtaining approvals.
Processing & executing weekly vendor payments with the approval of the Controller and GM.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders
Issue credit notes with verification of related documents
Prepare aging reports or customer analysis as needed.
Work with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding invoices.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of financial records.
- Maintain thorough and accurate files in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Prepare various information as requested for audit purpose
- Perform other duties as required to support Accounting Department
· Ability to handle high volume of tasks with accuracy
· Ability to handle discrepancies or other issues in a professional manner
· Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
· Ability to sit for several hours at a time
· Close mental and visual attention required, coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time.
