Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing of shipments, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and fulfillment processes.

Duties

•

Coordinate and oversee the shipping process from order receipt to delivery.

•

Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment.

•

Operate equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks for loading and unloading shipments.

•

Perform order picking and packing to ensure accuracy and quality of outgoing packages.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

•

Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping schedules and improve efficiency.

•

Conduct basic math calculations to verify order quantities and weights.

•

Address any shipping discrepancies or issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

•

Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred.

•

Familiarity with shipping and receiving operations is a plus.

•

Proficiency in using warehouse and inventory management systems for tracking orders and inventory.

•

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

•

Ability to operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.

•

Basic math skills for accurate order processing.

•

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

•

Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds as needed.
