Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. This role involves managing financial reporting, ensuring accuracy in financial statements, and providing insights into financial performance. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records while supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

- Manage cash flow through effective cash management practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.

- Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting function.

- Handle special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.

Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience.

- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.

- Audit experience is strongly preferred.

- Experience in the mortgage, real estate, and/or renewable energy industries is a plus.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
