URGENT HIRING: Solar Permitting Manager – Help Us Power the Rush Toward Solar Before the 30% Federal Rebate Ends!

As the 30% Federal Solar Tax Credit (ITC) begins to phase out, homeowners across Long Island and NYC are rushing to go solar — and we’re feeling the surge! We’re seeking an experienced Solar Permitting Manager to join our high-energy team and help fast-track solar installations for families trying to lock in their savings before it’s too late.

This is a high-impact, fast-paced role with performance-based incentives, growth opportunities, and the chance to make a difference as we transition New York to clean energy.

Key Responsibilities:

- File solar permits with Department of Buildings throughout Long Island and all 5 boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx, Staten Island).

- Submit utility interconnection applications with PSEG and Con Edison.

- Coordinate and schedule electrical and building inspections for residential and commercial solar projects.

- Liaise with internal project managers and operations teams to ensure timely approvals and installations.

- Monitor permit statuses and keep stakeholders updated to ensure deadlines are met.

- Ensure all documentation complies with local codes and utility company standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

- Has experience with solar permitting or in a similar role involving building departments and utility interconnections.

- Familiar with NYC DOB NOW portal, PSEG, and Con Edison permitting/interconnection platforms.

- Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple active projects at once.

- Strong communicator who thrives in a deadline-driven environment.

- Able to troubleshoot delays and proactively move projects forward.

- Comfortable navigating municipal offices and utility protocols across multiple jurisdictions.
