Job Summary

Small steel fabricator (forge shop) in Riverside seeks dependable lathe operators for rough machining operations (Large tolerance on most parts)

7AM-3:30AM day shift. Option for flexible hours, overtime readily available as well.

Responsibilities

- Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy.

- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing setting.

- Proficiency in operating lathes and other machining equipment.

- Ability to operate forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.

- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control in all aspects of work.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
