Job Title: Financial Associate

Salary: $115,731/year
NFE Management LLC is seeking a Financial Associate to evaluate and recommend investment opportunities, including joint ventures and partnerships to ensure alignment with strategic financial goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Build financial models for senior management to support their recommendations.
•Initiate and lead negotiations with counterparties and stakeholders to discuss and finalize terms of liquefied natural gas (LNG) contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while fostering strong relationships.
•Represent the organization in meetings with investors to discuss business performance, build long-term partnerships, and address strategic interests.
•Verify the accuracy of financial models provided by analysts, ensuring they align before being sent to senior management.
•Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results/data associated with our department, ensuring they are accurate and ready for senior management's review and approval prior to public release.
•Reach out to the market to evaluate short-term gas purchase options and present recommendations to executives for optimal sourcing decisions.
•Discuss LNG market trends, short-term gas deals, commodity prices, and forecasts with senior management, providing strategic recommendations and evaluating contract terms to support informed decision-making.
•Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to coordinate and streamline the logistical aspects of gas procurement, ensuring efficient and organized operations.
Requirements:
•Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Quantitative Finance, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the position offered or in a related role.
All required experience must have included:
•Building and maintaining financial models and using scenario analysis to assess the impact on liquefied natural gas (LNG) investments;
•Analyzing cash flow, profitability, and risk to support financial performance and accurate forecasting;
•Preparing financial reports and reporting key insights;
•Evaluating investment opportunities and contributing to the preparation of financing proposals;
•Analyzing LNG market trends, commodity prices, and geopolitical factors to inform decision-making;
•Providing data-driven recommendations for financial decisions; and
•Working with teams across departments to align financial goals and support the execution of LNG projects.
