Position Summary: Ensure production schedules and deadlines are met by taking action to solve production hang-ups and fulfill rush orders. Oversee the flow of materials and components through the operation and work with multiple departments which feed production (Supply Chain, Engineering, Production Control, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-5 years in production management in a Lean/Continuous Improvement environment
- Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft office suite; Visual ERP software a plus
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
- Deadline driven and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work strategically as well as tactically
- Proven experience developing and mentoring direct reports
- Reliable, good work ethic, high integrity.
- Monitor and manage production orders: Review planning schedules and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to understand material requirements and delivery dates.
- Identify languishing parts in fabrication and take steps to expedite them through production.
- Help set priorities, “hot jobs” for fabrication department to ensure assembly department shave all of the parts they need to complete their assemblies in an efficient manner.
- Maintains or assists with maintenance of inventories and has adjustments made as needed.
- Analyze work methods, sequences, etc. identify opportunities for improvement. Use problem solving skills to resolve issues and improve manufacturing processes
- Interface daily with Engineering, Production Planning (PDM), Purchasing, and Quality as needed to ensure all obstacles to meeting production goals are overcome.

- Coordinate material movement: pull, stage, and deliver materials to work centers to ensure they are available when needed for production
- Act as a point of contact to identify and resolve material shortages or other factors that could impact production
- Track inventory and schedule adherence: Monitor the location of materials and work-in-progress and help ensure that production schedules are being met without interruption.
- Manage finished goods: Ensure finished goods are stored in the proper locations after productionSalary Range: $55K-$65k annually. The pay range for this position is approximate. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities.
