Job Description – Commercial Solar Installer

Commercial Solar Installer:

Experienced, safety-minded solar professionals with a background in commercial or large-scale solar installation. You’ll work hands-on with racking, panels, and electrical components, often on rooftops or ground mounts, and collaborate with electricians, site leads, and project managers to complete installations efficiently and with quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Assemble and install commercial solar racking systems, modules, and mounting hardware.

•

Assist with wire management and electrical component installation under the supervision of licensed electricians.

•

Load/unload materials, set up job sites, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

•

Use hand and power tools to perform installation tasks safely and accurately.

•

Follow all company, site, and OSHA safety protocols, including proper PPE use.

•

Work efficiently in a team to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

•

1–3+ years of experience in solar installation (commercial experience preferred).

•

Comfortable working at heights and on ladders, rooftops, or scaffolding.

•

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction principles.

•

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.

•

Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

•

Reliable transportation to travel to job sites in NY/NJ/CT.

•

OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

•

MUST have valid driver’s license.
