We are seeking Geophysical Field Technicians (full-time or seasonal) to join our field crews on exploration projects worldwide. This role is hands-on, physically demanding, and requires working outdoors in remote areas for extended periods. Prior geophysical experience is not required—full training will be provided—but candidates must be ready for strenuous fieldwork and frequent travel.
- Field Data Collection – Acquire high-quality gravity survey data using precision gravity meters, GPS/GLONASS receivers, and other geophysical instruments.
- Field Mobility – Hike long distances daily (often 10–20 km) while carrying equipment in rugged, off-trail terrain.
- Equipment Care – Operate, transport, and maintain sensitive survey equipment, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Problem Solving – Troubleshoot and perform basic field repairs on survey instruments and related gear.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely with field crews under the direction of a Project Manager to safely and efficiently achieve survey objectives.
- Professional Representation – Uphold company standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism in all operations.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to hike all day in challenging terrain and varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work in remote environments with limited amenities (e.g., bush camps, backcountry conditions).
- Flexibility for extended travel (domestic and international).
- Comfort with technology, including GPS, tablets/data loggers, and geophysical instruments (training provided).
- Practical problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, SOPs, and equipment checklists.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Prior experience in remote fieldwork, forestry, guiding, backcountry operations, or resource exploration.
- Experience with drones, laser scanning, or other modern survey tools.
- Valid wilderness first aid, H2S, or similar safety certifications.
- Training in precision geophysical surveying techniques.
- Competitive pay and travel opportunities to diverse locations worldwide.
- The chance to work outdoors in dynamic, team-oriented projects.
- Advancement opportunities for motivated individuals interested in geophysics and exploration.
