The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in coordinating and supporting water treatment operations across Linkan projects. This role focuses on day-to-day operational oversight, logistics, communication, and documentation, ensuring projects run safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards and client expectations.
- Support field operations by coordinating schedules, logistics, and deliverables
- Serve as a liaison between project management, field crews, and vendors to ensure operational alignment
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including daily logs, cost reports, and internal communications
- Develop and review technical content for reports, procedures, safety documentation, and compliance submittals
- Contribute to proposal development, including drafting scope narratives, scheduling input, pricing support, and execution planning
- Track labor, materials, and equipment usage; provide regular updates against budget and schedule goals
- Manage procurement processes:
- Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Submit purchase requests using cost-effective and timely procurement practices
- Coordinate material delivery and confirm readiness for field deployment
- Assist in organizing and supporting safety meetings, job walks, and team briefings
- Participate in project meetings; document minutes and action items, and track progress
- Support change management by identifying out-of-scope activities and contributing to Change Orders
- Provide field data and documentation for invoicing, forecasting, and reporting
- Assist with estimating efforts by gathering quotes, coordinating with vendors, and assembling bid documentation
- Conduct light mechanical troubleshooting or field verifications, when required
- Help onboard new field staff and promote adherence to company safety and quality standards
- Maintain strong field-level communication with internal teams and leadership to ensure alignmentThe above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
- 5+ years of experience in water treatment operations, industrial construction, or related technical fields
- Proven supervisory or lead experience in construction or field-based environments
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems including pumps, valves, piping, and chemical processes
- Excellent technical writing skills, with experience preparing professional documentation and client reports
- Familiarity with project proposals, estimating, and scheduling processes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and operational plans
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, digital timekeeping, and basic project tracking tools
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Safety-conscious, with a demonstrated ability to enforce field safety procedures
- Physically able to perform site walks and occasional field tasks (lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders, walk uneven terrain)
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts or skid steers is a plus
