About the Job:
Coeur Rochester is seeking a Heap Leach Technician to support our silver-gold heap leaching operations. The technician will be responsible for maintaining optimal leach pad performance through monitoring, sampling, and equipment upkeep.
Responsibilities:
•Safely and effectively implement pad piping and emitter plan, operate pipe assembly equipment
•Monitor and document pad conditions, troubleshoot and correct equipment and emitter problems
•Operate mobile equipment: must be able to operate dozers, tractors and loaders.
•Communicate and provide assistance to the plant operations
•Relief in refinery or process as needed.
•Ability to work under all weather conditions
•Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain safely
•Able to wear and complete job tasks using all required PPE including but not limited to: safety toe and rubber boots, gloves and respirator, etc.
Recommended:
•Knowledge of Merrill Crowe Process
•2 or more years of mining experience including heap leach experience
•Experienced mobile equipment operator
Required :
•High school diploma or GED
Self-motivated
Additional Information:
•Hourly Rate Range: $26.53-41.10 (DOE)
•Quarterly bonus up to $4,100 (up to $16,400 annually)
