Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Maintenance Planning General Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will review and ensure the workforce and material availability, meet the short term and long-term maintenance plan, and take actions to meet the requirements. You will also monitor the work progress, coordinate equipment stoppage and release to operations based on priorities. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct.
- Follow scheduled work progress, including regular maintenance, major work and Equipment overhaul;
- Coordinate equipment stoppage and release with equipment owner and maintenance;
- Coordinate workforce and equipment movement and logistic between sites;
- Coordinate booking of external workforce (Specialist, Engineer, Inspectors, etc);
- Coordinate service equipment mobilization for specific maintenance works;
- Coordinate parts delivery to site and/or to maintenance shop as per maintenance plan and priorities;
- Monitor WO parts readiness of down equipment;
- Review workforce consistency and address unbalance and opportunity;
- All other activities as assigned by the Maintenance Planning General Supervisor.
- Degree or diploma in the maintenance field, industrial field and/or, Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a maintenance field;
- PMP certification is considered an asset;
- Mining experience is considered an asset;
- Good knowledge and understanding of the maintenance plan and schedule principles;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.
Your Work Schedule
- Hybrid Schedule: 7/7 schedule; This is defined as 7 days of work on site, followed by 7 days off, followed by 7 days of work from home, followed by 7 days off.
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
