This role is full-time, located Canada or the United States, for a Technician at STARK International / Transfluid Services. You will be traveling across North America. The Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repair tasks on transformers and related equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Daily tasks include utilizing diagnostic tools, monitoring insulating oil systems, and providing on-site services such as transformer commissioning and repair. The role involves working with state-of-the-art tools and equipment to meet the high-quality standards expected by STARK’s clientele.
- Technical skills in mechanical or electrical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experience in using diagnostic tools and equipment for inspections and servicing
- Familiarity with transformer maintenance, insulating oil services, and commissioning
- Physical ability to perform on-site services under varying working conditions
- Strong organizational and time management skills for managing tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and industry standards
- Previous experience in oil services or transformer maintenance is an asset, but not mandatory
- Certificate or diploma in a relevant technical field is preferred
