NGSG is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Coordinator responsible for the timely procurement of parts and services to support internal field operations. Key responsibilities include requisitioning, receiving, stocking, and inventory management. The role requires daily use of warehouse management systems and regular coordination with vendors to ensure efficient supply chain operations. Additionally, the Warehouse Coordinator will champion service excellence, HSE policies and standards, and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
- Generate requisitions to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Coordinate vendor deliveries and pickups; verify orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor backorders and proactively communicate with vendors for updates.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to transfer inventory between locations.
- Maintain organized warehouses with accurate bin assignments, clear labeling, and up-to-date records in the warehouse management system/ERP.
- Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation for internal and external sites.
- Monitor slow-moving or excess inventory and recommend actions to management.
- Support planning and setup of new stockrooms and inventory items.
- Ensure timely requisition and issuance of parts for jobs.
- Communicate proactively with field service personnel and service managers regarding inventory status.
- Maintain general housekeeping in warehouses, storage areas, and offices.
- Support Warehouse Supervisors in executing key initiatives.
- Answer incoming calls and provide positive, effective service to internal and external customers.
- Coordinate with procurement and accounts payable to process requisitions, receipts, and transfers.
- Document activities, complete reports, and perform other related duties as assigned.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management, field service, procurement, or supply chain; experience with natural gas compressor components preferred.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Preferred: Accredited purchasing/APICS/ISM certification, Lean/Six Sigma experience, or demonstrated process improvement expertise.
- Experience with purchasing, online requisitioning, spend management, and inventory systems preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with teams, vendors, and personnel.
- Positive “can-do” attitude and strong work ethic; able to work with minimal supervision.
- Effective time management and ethical behavior.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Weekend or after-hours work may occasionally be required.
- Must be fluent in English; bilingual skills a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Employment for this role is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and MVR check, drug screening, and physical exam, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
This position requires regular travel to field locations, often in varied weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold. The role involves frequent physical labor, including lifting and carrying heavy items such as 8D batteries (approximately 128 lbs.) and 3516 heads (approximately 78 lbs.), as well as performing other tasks necessary to support field operations. Candidates must be capable of handling these physical demands safely and effectively.
