Weekly Sales Meeting in Exeter every Monday morning
To be successful in this role, you should be working 40 – 50 hours per week. In this type of sales role, there is a direct correlation between hours worked and money earned (more hours = more money).
The hours you work each day are flexible and usually vary day-to-day based on your appointment schedule.
You will be meeting with people at their home or business, and you need to be flexible and work around their schedules. This can sometimes result in evening or weekend meetings with customers.
You should be scheduling 3 – 4 days of in-person meetings with prospects. Each day should consist of 2 – 3 meetings (6 – 10 meetings per week).
We also participate in various expos throughout the year that require weekend attendance as well. These events are a great way to meet new prospects and network in the industry. We average 5 – 7 weekend events per year, and your participation in several of these events will be required.
It is recommended that you join networking groups, work new tabling events, or other activities to help generate new business for yourself. While we do supply leads for this role, self-generated leads will launch your earning potential and help you stay busy during the natural ebb & flow of inbound inquiries.
Self-generated leads that are sold also receive a higher commission percentage and help to grow your book of business very quickly!
You should have a clean driving record (we run background checks).
We will provide you with a company vehicle and gas card (Toyota Rav4 or similar AWD vehicle). This vehicle will be given to you after the 90-day probationary period.
You need to be very comfortable driving in New Hampshire weather. A small snow squall should NOT derail your day or pre-scheduled meetings.
Estimated annual miles driven will be 15,000 – 25,000 miles.
There is no place for lying or misleading customers in any way. We have a great team, strong service offering, and a very high reputation to uphold. We are NOT looking for people who “lie to get by”.
You need to be very comfortable talking to people using all forms of communication (call, email, text, in person, etc.). You will become a subject matter expert, and you will build trust with people from beginning to end.
- Outbound calls and emails to contact new leads
- Introduction phone calls to collect information, qualify new leads, and schedule site evaluations (on-site home visit)
- Accurately present information and answering questions with confidence and clarity
- Email proposals and additional information to prospects after meeting
- Regularly follow up with prospects to check in, answer questions, etc.
- Ability to ask the prospect for their business
This role is good for those who thrive in busy environments and can stay organized and focused!
This is “full cycle sales” role. You will be calling new leads, setting your own appointments, following up with prospects, closing deals, and performing final walkthroughs with customers after installs are completed.
A standard day can be chaotic at times when juggling all the tasks listed above. Imagine you are on the phone with a new lead, and another call is coming in from an existing customer with a question, you have an inbox full of unread emails that need to be answered, you have a meeting with a homeowner in Hooksett in an hour, and you haven’t had lunch yet. Are you going to panic or cave to the stresses? Or will you make yourself some food, write a to-do list, and tackle each item one-by-one?
If you read this job description and would like to take the next step towards joining our team, please forward your resume to Steve@603solar.com.
Qualified candidates will perform an initial phone interview, followed by an in-person interview with the ownership team.
