About this opportunity

This position ensures the safe reconditioning of propane containers on a daily basis. There are several steps involved in this process, which must be done systematically to produce the completed product.

What your role will look like

- Refurbish propane vessels; includes moving, purging, sandblasting, de-valving, performing hydrostatic testing and painting

- Maintain all propane vessels and valves to ensure they are leak-free prior to being available for service

- Due to equipment, fuels and other products being utilized, this individual must remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe manner, including reporting of any unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately

- Interact with customers and co-workers in a respectful and courteous manner and maintain confidentiality of all customer information

- Participate in all safety and staff meetings, as required

- Maintain sandblast machines in optimum and safe operating order

- Be receptive of and competently use new technologies

- Function effectively and efficiently in this safety sensitive position

- Participate in “on-call” rotation and be available to work overtime as needed

- Regular attendance and punctuality adherence to a schedule that meets the needs of the department which increase on a seasonal basis

- Be receptive to and competently use new technologies

- Other duties as assigned
