RESPONSIBILITY:
The primary function of the Facility Machine Maintenance manager is to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance on the facility and equipment with two direct reports. The work is to be completed in a safe and efficient method to ensure minimal production downtime and adherence to environmental and safety guidelines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Diagnose root cause of issues and complete repairs on a variety of production and facility equipment
•Develop and use procedures and work instructions which will include diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications which will be used for predicting, troubleshooting, preventing and repairing malfunctions
•Install and set-up new and used manufacturing and facility equipment
•Prioritize and perform multiple tasks with competing deadlines
•Use various facility equipment and tools when necessary
•Provide training and support to two direct reports
•Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Strong trouble-shooting skills to diagnose machine shop operating issues in complex equipment and CNC machines.
•Strong mechanical aptitude to repair equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime
•Strong ability to plan current workload as well as upcoming projects
•Effective collaboration through communication, teamwork and a positive outlook
•Effective interaction and sound judgement decision-making abilities while working with employees and suppliers
•Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
•Basic computer skills are required
