This position is responsible for maintaining the inventory processes related to asses tracking of propane tanks and other inventory assets.
- Coordinate propane tank movement and reconciliations through Eastern, which includes:
- Transferring tanks between districts.
- Completing tank transactions with competitors.
- Tracking tank refurbishments.
- Facilitating transactions related to customer-owned tanks.
- Researching and supporting the purchase of new tanks.
- Processing year-end transactions.
- Coordinate operational procedures required in maintaining accurate perpetual inventory records.
- Assist with the oversite of data integrity for all warehouses locations.
- Perform various inventory related transactions such as transfers, adjustments, billing, and month end.
- Assist other team members to perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain reliable documentation practices.
- Communicate timely and appropriately with all applicable stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain proficiency with the utilization of Eastern’s software platforms.
- Be receptive to and successfully complete other duties as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Exposure to inventory services or warehousing preferred.
- Proficiency with data entry.
