Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) is seeking a driven and dedicated
Risk Control Analyst
to join our team in Omaha, NE. The Risk Control Analyst is responsible for supporting Traders with deal entry to ensure accurate capture and processing of transactions across internal systems. This role involves evaluating risk positions associated with trading activity to confirm alignment with established internal risk management policies. The analyst will also contribute to the preparation and validation of daily risk and position reports to support oversight of the overall trading portfolio.

Onsite in Omaha, NE.
Essential Job Functions•Identify, analyze, and capture the risk exposure of all trades and structured deals for accurate reflection in risk systems
•Enforce compliance with risk management frameworks by validating trading activity against defined tolerance levels
•Compile risk reports in accordance with current policies and procedures
•Serve as a point of contact for questions related to deal information, trade entry, and the company’s internal gas management system, providing support to teams across the organization
•Collaborate with Traders and front-office personnel to gain a deep understanding of trade details and ensure all deals are entered timely and accurately
•Communicate open risk positions and ensure alignment across relevant stakeholders
•Review transactions for regulatory reporting compliance and applicable financial regulations
•Deliver high-quality work under tight daily, monthly, and quarterly deadlines while maintaining accuracy in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
Basic Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience, including in physical commodity trading
•Reliable, dependable, and predictable attendance is required
•Must be flexible to work extended hours as workload requires
Preferred Requirements
•Auditing/CPA License or industry experience
•Ability to write formulas and utilize graphs using Excel
•Proven ability to effectively multitask and prioritize competing demands
•Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating initiative, assertiveness, and intellectual curiosity
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with diverse personalities across all levels
•Passionate about continuous learning and deepening knowledge of the natural gas industry
•Strong work ethic combined with a collaborative, team-focused mindset
