Are you ready to ignite your career with a hands-on, dynamic role? Omaha Steel is seeking skilled and dedicated Air Arc Operators to join our Cleaning Room team. If you're passionate about precision, quality, and have a knack for operating heavy machinery, this opportunity is for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Use arc gauges to check and maintain proper casting profiles.
- Identify and remove excess metal on castings.
- Properly use and care for air arc equipment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in production and quality.
- Determine the appropriate size of carbon rods.
- Efficiently arc high alloy castings with exceptional production and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 100 lbs. (assistance available for lifting over 50 lbs.).
- Comfort working in or near extreme temperatures and dusty environments.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Reliable attendance, flexibility in working hours, and a collaborative spirit.
