Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding components according to specifications while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as the ability to work effectively on construction sites.
Responsibilities
•Utilize hand tools and power tools to fabricate metal components, ensuring precision and quality in all work.
•Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
•Assemble fabricated parts according to blueprints and engineering specifications.
•Operate a press brake machine for bending and shaping metal sheets.
•Solder components as necessary to ensure secure connections.
•Adhere to all relevant codes and standards throughout the fabrication process.
•Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
•Safely operate forklifts for moving materials around the worksite.
•Maintain a clean and organized workspace, promoting safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of metalworking techniques.
•Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and press brake machines.
•Knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to welding and fabrication processes.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
•Experience working on construction sites is preferred.
•Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
