We are looking to fill one position immediately!

We are a small aluminum foundry and machine shop in the Asheville NC area and have been in business for over 35 years. We produce parts and castings for a wide array of businesses across the country.

This is an entry level position, $18 -$20 to start for full time position.

We will train the right applicant. We machine many different parts for many customers. 1 year machinist experience required.

Experience using basic tools is required.

Experience using pneumatic tools and band saw preferred

Must have excellent work attendance history.

Must be on time and ready to work every day.

Full time position candidate must be able to work Monday - Thursday 7:30am to 5:30pm And Friday 7:30am -11:30am.

We offer 4 & 1/2-day work week, weekly pay, 7 paid holidays and 1-week paid vacation per year for full time employees.

Part time schedule is flexible.

Responsibilities

- Operate machinery and tools in the aluminum foundry, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

- Perform basic machining tasks and assist in the fabrication of aluminum components.

- Work well with other team members

- Conduct quality inspections

- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and assist in general labor tasks as needed.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
