Job Description

Warehouse Associate

HY-C Company is searching for an experienced Warehouse Associate. Regular tasks will include order picking, receiving, product replenishments, and cycle counts. You must be a self-starter with a good safety record in driving both sit down and standup forklifts.

Responsibilities

- Receive incoming deliveries while inspecting for quality and correct count

- Accurately pick orders and follow customer instructions

- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies

- Perform replenishments as directed

- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by understanding lockout/tagout procedures

- Accurately count inventory during regular cycle counts

- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines

- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment

- Efficiently pack e-commerce orders for shipment

- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

- Experience using any warehouse management system (Mandatory)

- Proven experience on sitdown and standup forklifts

- Attention to detail and familiarity with RF scanners

- Excellent physical condition and coordination

- Ability to prioritize

- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

- Team player and have ability to work independently

- High school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience

- Excellent math skills

Physical demands and abilities

- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75lbs.

- Frequently required to stand, walk and bend in different positions the whole shift.

- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, such as heat or cold
