- Manage end-to-end purchasing for direct materials and factory services.
- Ensure timely material availability to meet production schedules.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs.
- Monitor supplier performance and lead audits when needed.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for purchase order management and reporting.
- Lead and develop a team of buyers and analysts to achieve factory goals.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing.- Strong knowledge of direct material sourcing and MRP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Preferred certifications: CPP, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma.
