Foundry Melter

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Foundry Melter to safely operate and maintain melting furnaces for our casting operations. This role is critical to producing high-quality metal while supporting on-time production.

What You’ll Do

- Operate and monitor furnaces to melt and prepare metal for casting

- Charge furnaces with scrap, alloys, and other materials

- Control furnace temperatures and adjust alloys as needed

- Take metal samples and work with the lab to ensure quality specifications are met

- Safely tap molten metal and coordinate with the casting team

- Keep accurate melt records and perform basic furnace maintenance

- Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE

What We’re Looking For

- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)

- Foundry or furnace operation experience strongly preferred

- Knowledge of alloys, metallurgy basics, and furnace controls a plus

- Ability to work safely in a hot, physically demanding environment

- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
