Schaeffer Marketing Group is entering its 50th year in the manufacturers rep business. As we continue to grow, come be a part of our team! We are seeking a self-motivated outside sales professional to sell electrical and/or lighting products mainly to distributors but also to some contractors and end users. Seasoned outside sales candidates are preferred, but candidates with less experience will be considered. This is a full-time salaried position.

The successful candidate will be required to:

- Travel the assigned territory on a regular and consistent basis to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers

- Make end user calls independently and with distributors

- Demonstrate technical and product knowledge to assist customers in product selection – can train

- Close sales and achieve sales goals

- Provide training and educational seminars

- Attend and exhibit at local conventions and product shows

- Use CRM system to log sales activities and capture opportunities

- Act in an ethical and professional manner

Qualifications:

- Sales, electrical or lighting experience is required

- Industry experience is preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
