Drivers are home every night. We operate new Kenworth automatic trucks. Belt trailer and end dump experience is preferred.

Join our dynamic team as a Local CDL Class A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely within your local area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks. You’ll be the backbone of our logistics operation, ensuring timely load and unloads while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

- Safely operate a range of commercial trucks, including manual transmission tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks for local deliveries.

- Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.

- Deliver freight to designated locations promptly, maintaining excellent customer service throughout each interaction.

- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during trips.

Skills

- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on local deliveries; familiarity with freight handling is essential.

- Experience driving various types of trucks including flatbeds, dump trucks, and end dumps.

- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.

- Excellent route planning skills to optimize delivery schedules within local areas.

- Good physical condition for handling cargo loads and performing vehicle inspections.

- Clear understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving. Pay: $0.50 - $0.67 per mile
