To help facilitate our expanding business, MidStates Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer – Estimator to join our team in Bloomsdale, Missouri. This position is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for industrial electrical construction projects ranging from small to large-scale installations.

Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed plan and specification estimates

- Develop comprehensive design-build estimates

- Perform detailed scope reviews

- Produce competitive estimates throughout the bid process

- Complete bid forms and prepare proposals

- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing

- Assist in planning and negotiating projects through award

Requirements

- Knowledge of Accubid estimating software

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

- Minimum 2-year technical degree required; 4-year engineering or related degree preferred

- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
