We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Associate to support our Vice President of Business Development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new acquisition opportunities nationwide, providing market intelligence, and assisting with various administrative and communication tasks to drive business growth.
- Support the Vice President of Business Development by creating, utilizing, and maintaining spreadsheets, maps, and word documents to summarize and document acquisition opportunities and management approvals.
- Conduct online research to provide key market intelligence that supports the identification of prospects for new acquisition opportunities across the country.
- Make phone calls and send emails to potential acquisition targets, market participants, and vendors to establish and maintain relationships.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and other customer communications as needed to support business development efforts.
- Prospect for new acquisition opportunities nationwide, identifying and qualifying potential targets.
- Create, utilize, and maintain a comprehensive database to track acquisition prospects and related information.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and deliver acquisition presentations.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and mapping tools for data organization and presentation.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to gather and analyze market intelligence online.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for outreach and proposal preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records in a comprehensive database.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to prospecting and business development.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
