Role could include positions like Quality Engineer, Process Engineer, Process Engineer Maintenance, Drafting Mechanical Design, or Electrical Design This Summer internship is a 12 week program that will take place in-person at our factory in Jefferson City, MO. Internships Are

- An engineering student interested in working in the manufacturing industry with a passion for hands-on projects focused on quality of product, continuous improvement mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and come up with solutions that support safety, quality and production. You will be required to work on the manufacturing floor 80% of your day ensuring to wear all appropriate PPE (safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses and bump caps)
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly working directly with those maintaining and repairing production and facilities machinery
- You enjoy a day that is different every day allowing you to prioritize a variety of projects with the ability to manage and meet various deadlines
- You understand the importance of safety and make it a priority in everything you do
- You are driven to learn and can take initiative on projects utilizing resources and support where needed
- Obtaining a bachelor’s or `master’s degree in engineering (Major can be Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or any other Engineering major)
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
