Join the Connexus Energy team in a critical leadership role as our next Vice President of Technology. In this role you’ll drive excellence across business applications, infrastructure, cloud systems, networking, cybersecurity, and information management. As a vital member of our executive leadership team, you’ll collaborate with senior leaders to design and implement strategies to move the cooperative forward.

Anticipated hiring pay is $219,000 - $287,000. The final compensation offered is based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience and skill level. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 20% based on company performance.

In this position, you will:

- Lead a highly skilled and dynamic technology team, ensuring reliable and secure IT systems, infrastructure, and data services—all while driving exceptional customer experiences.

- Develop Connexus’ technology and data vision by forecasting industry trends and launching initiatives that elevate our capabilities and bring long-term value to our cooperative.

- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to build our strategic direction, engage with the board, and lead the cooperative through values-based leadership.

- Take charge of cybersecurity strategy, proactively managing risks and deploying rapid incident responses.

- Drive data strategy and governance to deliver insights for informed decisions company-wide.

- Lead the development, acquisition, and optimization of business applications to drive operational performance.

- Oversee budgeting and profit planning to ensure investments align strategically for optimal growth.

Need to have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

- Ten or more years of progressive IT, software, or data analytics leadership experience.

- Strong track record of leadership, vendor management, and enterprise-wide collaboration.

- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

- Experience with cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and enterprise applications.

Nice to have:

- Advanced degree such as MIS, MBA (Technology Management), or related field.

- Experience in the utility or energy industry.

- Familiarity with data strategy, business intelligence, and digital innovation.
