Position Summary
The Nuclear Project Control Manager will be working in a position responsible for providing direction and support to the Nuclear Project Controls organization to ensure a consistent approach that aligns with the overall Project Controls strategy. This position will also be responsible for managing an active portfolio of projects along with the supervisory duties. The Manager will also be responsible for contributing to the strategic goals and visions of the Project Control and of Nuclear Capital Projects organization. This position interacts with the capital project teams on a daily basis, business area executive management and develops solid relationships with all levels throughout the company to obtain results. This position assists in the implementation and achievement of goals, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and measurement of business initiatives within the Nuclear business area.
Essential Responsibilities•Develop capital projects schedules and interviews project teams to validate project scope inclusion in schedule. Defines critical path and validates that the project schedule is in compliance with the agreed to schedule structure. Provides project cost tracking and reporting to management and other project controls services as requested.
•Responsible for ensuring and the development of project controls tools, policies and procedures and provides oversight for the maintenance of project schedules across Nuclear using the Project Management software system including oversight of various vendor's project control systems and tools for compatability and integration within the Company's system
•Provides direction to the Project Control personnel to ensure a consistent approach that aligns with the overall Project Controls strategies and goals. Will work directly with area managers to build strong relationships and to communicate the goals of the Project Controls organization.
•Responsible for managing a team of individuals who work closely with the Capital Project teams on all scope, schedule, and cost issues.
•Understands and applies project controls metrics, including but not limited to Earned Value Analysis, Cost Performance Index and Schedule Performance Index and work order completion. Provides direction and training to project personnel regarding project controls and metrics.
•Special project assignments as needed.
•Assists with annual and 5-year budget development as well as long range planning for the capital plans and budgets. Provides technical support for rate case questions and responses for the nuclear projects organization.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or related field (6 years related experience may be substituted for the degree). Minimum of 7 years of project management / project controls experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Experience in overall project scheduling, reporting, and project planning methods and practices. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and scheduling tools. Proficient in the use of Primavera scheduling tool. PMP (Project Management Professional Certificate) preferred.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $125,900.00 to $178,766.00 per year
