Engineering Manager
. This position will lead the design and development of equipment for underground cable installation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong mechanical engineering background and a proven track record in leading cross-functional project teams through the full product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
•Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the design and development of innovative underground cable installation equipment.
•Drive New Product Development (NPD) initiatives from concept through production, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
•Oversee design reviews, risk assessments, and validation activities to ensure robust and manufacturable solutions.
•Implement and maintain ISO-compliant engineering processes and documentation.
•Champion Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to optimize product cost, quality, and performance.
•Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement across engineering practices and product lines.
•Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and field service teams to ensure seamless product launches and support.
•Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet business objectives.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
•Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years experience in leading teams or in a management role.
•Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex engineering projects.
•Hands-on experience with New Product Development and ISO quality systems.
•Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturability and Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
•Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, independence, and motivation.
•Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and operational excellence.
