This role will be on-site at our Roseville office, and in the field throughout the metro area.
We are looking for 5 new Energy Counselors to join our growing Residential team! Our plan is for these individuals to start as a cohort on October 1, 2025. This role will report to a Field Supervisor and work as a member of the Home Energy Squad (HES). HES is responsible for assisting customers throughout the Twin Cities metro area in improving the energy efficiency of their homes. As an energy counselor you will be responsible for working with people and providing high quality services to customers. The Energy Counselor is the primary point of contact for the customer and is responsible for establishing a good rapport. Home visits include an assessment of energy use and on-site installations of energy-saving products like LED light bulbs and energy efficient shower heads. Energy Counselors work closely with our Energy Auditors to help homeowners get immediate energy savings while providing the homeowner with a customized plan for larger energy savings projects.
No prior residential services experience is required; thorough on-the-job training is provided for CEE’s Energy Counselors.

The pay rate for this position is $21.50 per hour.
