Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Support professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our sales team and clients, ensuring smooth communication and exceptional service. Responsibilities

- Enter and manage sales orders accurately

- Communicate with customers regarding lead times, order status, and delivery schedules

- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping departments

- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships

- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities

- Resolve customer concerns and service issues promptly

- Prepare reporting for management and outside sales team

- Manage customer aging inventory

- Review pricing and confirm accuracy

Experience

- 1-2 years of inside sales or customer service experience (steel/metals industry preferred)

- Knowledge of flat-rolled steel products (HR, CR, Galv, Galvalume, processing services) is a plus

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Teams and ERP systems

- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment

- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
