We are a rapidly growing, innovative manufacturer on the forefront of precision technologies. As operations expand, we are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead operators, enforce standards, and ensure production targets are met consistently.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading shift production, overseeing a team of 15+ operators, and holding the team accountable to output and quality standards. This role balances on-the-floor leadership with administrative duties including reporting, scheduling alignment, and personnel management. The ideal candidate is an experienced operator or supervisor with strong leadership, problem-solving, and accountability skills.
· Assign daily work and monitor operator performance and attendance.
· Enforce production standards and ensure daily targets are met.
· Manage shift schedule, including: work station assignments/rotations, operator training, operator vacation/personal time, overtime as needed, back-up for absent operators.
· Hold operators accountable for quality standards; support Quality Techs in ensuring compliance.
· Discipline operators as needed per company policies.
· Handle basic machine troubleshooting and escalate major issues to Maintenance.
· Maintain production data, shift reports, and timecards accurately.
· Communicate effectively with supervisors on other shifts to ensure continuity.
· Schedule and conduct shift meetings as needed.
· Ensure a clean and safe work area.
· Manufacturing experience required; prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
· Ability to handle basic troubleshooting of production equipment.
· Lean/continuous improvement experience a plus but not required.
· Competitive hourly wage ($25–$30/hr depending on experience).
