Precision Manufacturing Group, a fabricator of precision metal parts, is seeking a detailed person for the role of Order Fulfilment / Distribution Lead - Shipping / Receiving. This role is responsible for understanding daily shipping requirements by reviewing open order reports, pulling parts, tagging, packing/wrapping (includes packaging in boxes or on skids), and shipping completed fabricated parts. This role includes making occasional local deliveries within a 45 mile radius with the company van.

In tandem with preparing and delivering completed parts, this person will also be responsible for preparing parts that require outside processing. This will require these parts being dropped off and then picked back up once the outside process has been completed.

This position requires working for various industries such as tool and die, heavy equipment, oil, defense work, etc.

Objectives

· Complete daily shipping and/or outside manufacturing requirements

- Picking & Preparation of parts to be shipped

- Coordinate route for driver

- Ensure the quality of the end product

- Maintain professionalism when out on delivery/pick up

· Prepare future workload based on what is currently available on the floor

· Alert operations manager of any issues that may arise (i.e. missing parts, wrong parts, late parts, etc.)

· Organize and maintain tidy work area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
