This is an hourly 1st shift position. Hours will be 7:30 am - 4:00 p.m. This is an administrative position. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products before they are shipped. You will serve as the final check, verifying that all operations are completed on various products and visually inspecting gages to ensure they meet our standards. A major part of the job involves using Excel to create detailed certifications for gages, which requires ensuring inspector readings, prints, and quality specifications are all met. Because attention to detail is critical, you'll also be responsible for verifying the accuracy of etching on paperwork and confirming that inspection readings are included on all features of the attached prints or specifications. The person in this position will be cross trained to provide backup support to other operational support roles, assist with physical inventory, back up for Shipping and will have data entry responsibilities for the manufacturing support team.

Qualifications/Experience – Working knowledge of blueprint reading is required. Computer skills. Strong communication skills. Attention to detail.

Education and/or Experience – Must have a high school diploma.

Language Skills - Able to read, speak, and understand English.

Mathematical Skills – Strong math skills are required. Must be able to understand and work with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, positive & negative numbers and simple mathematical formulas. Will be converting measurements to metrics & back, along with fractions to decimals.

Computer skills –Must be able to work with Outlook, Access, and Excel or similar programs.

Physical Demands - Ability to sit/stand for an 8-hr. period. Ability to lift 50 pounds. The work environment is an office in the manufacturing area & in the shipping area.
